FAQ/Terms and Conditions

All parents/guardians must ensure that they read the following Terms and Conditions of Enrolment before they enrol. Please note that once Examberry has accepted your registration, the following terms and conditions apply.

Which year group is the course suitable for?

  1. The course is suitable for year 4 and year 5 students.

  1. Prices are correct at time of registration and are subject to change without notice.
  2. Fees include online tuition, course materials and homework.
  3. Fees are payable in advance on a per-term basis. You can also prepay for all 3 terms at a special rate.
  4. Failure to pay any due fees will result in the student being excluded from further classes.

Can I have a trial lesson?

  1. There are no trial lessons. However, if you are unsatisfied after your first lesson, you can request a refund for the remaining 7 sessions of the term, provided you do so within 48 hours of your first lesson.

Can I book one term or two terms in advance?

  1. No, terms must be booked in chronological order. This is to ensure current clients have priority for the limited number of spaces in each class. New clients will only be able to join if current clients drop out at the end of the current term or before the next term. You can, however, prebook the whole year in advance at a special rate.

Commencement of Tuition

  1. On payment of the termly or annual fee, Examberry will reserve a place for your child on your selected course, which is done strictly on a first come first serve basis.
  2. A child may only attend classes once Examberry Tuition Ltd. has received the payment.
  3. Examberry reserves the right to change the times of the courses and to make changes in regulations, syllabus, fees, etc., without prior notice.
  4. Examberry does not guarantee in any way that the tuition will enable the student to pass the relevant exams or achieve entrance to their desired schools.

Refund and Termination Policy

  1. If, for some unexpected reason, you wish to withdraw your child from the course before it begins, cancellations made within 21 days of the course start date are subject to a charge of £60.
  2. If you are not satisfied with our style of teaching, you can request a refund after the first lesson for the remaining sessions of the term (or the remaining sessions of the year if you have prepaid a full year in advance), providing you do so within 48 hours of your first lesson. No refunds will be issued after this time window has elapsed.
  3. If, for some unexpected reason, you wish to withdraw your child from lessons, you are free to do so at the end of each term, provided you are paying on a per term basis.

  1. All teaching material is provided in digital format during the course and is included in the course fee.
  2. We do not offer temporary class swaps; students are required to complete a missed lesson’s classwork and homework with the aid of their digital books.
  3. All Examberry course materials are subject to copyright. Photocopying or any other means of electronic reproduction are strictly prohibited without written permission from Examberry Tuition Ltd.

What happens if my class falls on a Bank Holiday Monday?

  1. If your class falls on a Bank Holiday Monday, you will be contacted in advance to confirm an alternative date for your class.

Missed Lessons

  1. Examberry must be notified promptly of any absences through illness.
  2. If a lesson is cancelled by Examberry Tuition Ltd, a replacement session(s) will be arranged to replace it.
  3. It is a basic stipulation of the agreement between the student/parent/guardian and Examberry or its representatives that neither Examberry nor its representatives are liable to the student in cases where Examberry is unable to fulfil any services to which they are contractually bound because of strikes or other reasons that are beyond their control. This includes traffic congestion and public transport delays.
